My name is Donna Owens and I launched my online shop in July of 2020. The Splendid Company is a woman-owned shop based out of Louisiana.

 

I started with a boutique Candy Shop, Splendid Sweets Co, in 2012 that specializes in traditional hand-stirred fudge recipe that I've made for over 30 years, as well as my signature Chocolate-dipped "Marshies", Fruit Barks and other tasty treats. After spending so much time in the kitchen creating treats, I developed an obsession for Tea Towels, the more whimsical the better! I'd find myself searching hi-and-lo for unique or vintage Tea Towels.

 

I have always been somewhat of a free spirit and a whole lot of an overachiever who wanted to "do it all".  This certainty helped when I began scouting out these little jewels and quickly stirred a passion for curating home goods and bundling local, whimsical or handmade items with luxury items to make the receiver feel exceptionally cared for; to feel Splendid!

 

My eyes are set for a store front, then another and then another. I'd love to share The  Splendid Company from coast-to-coast!
